W. K. Thomas & Associates Helps the Slippery Rock VFD with Construction of New Rescue Building

Slippery Rock VFD broke ground in August on their long awaited new Rescue Building.  The building was designed by Ligo Architects of Slippery Rock.  We worked closely with Ligo Architects and the members of the Slippery Rock VFD through the design and budgeting process. This is the first of three phases that also include a truck garage and social hall. The Rescue Building is a 5,500 square foot conventional wood and block structure that is designed to garage four ambulances and features two bedrooms, two baths, a day room, offices and a fitness room.  It also has an in floor hot water heat system in the ambulance garage.  The project is scheduled for completion by February 2015.
